The Slim Relaxed Fit

Our personal favourite – shaped, but not aggressively tapered, for a more contemporary look. Less fitted than Slim Tailored, but still clean and considered.

How it is cut

Olive green long-sleeve shirt in the Slim Relaxed Fit, shown flat from the front
  1. 1Slightly lower shoulder point
  2. 2Lower first button height
  3. 3More room through the chest
  4. 4Softer waist shaping

The shirt should feel comfortable through the chest, waist and back without appearing boxy.

The shoulder sits slightly lower, while the body retains enough shape to look put together when worn tucked or untucked.

Suitable for

What you want or prefer

  • More room than a traditional tapered shirt without losing its shape
  • A cleaner, more contemporary silhouette
  • One fit that works across almost all settings and occasions

Where it works

Almost anywhere – while the Slim Relaxed is not a classic formal shirt cut, but it can still be worn to the office, dinner and most occasions where you want to look put together.

It is relaxed without being oversized or shapeless, so the overall effect remains clean and polished.
