Garment Care Overview
Proper care preserves both the look and longevity of your garments. This section outlines easy, practical tips for washing, ironing, drying, and storing your shirts. With detailed instructions for different fabrics and finishes, you can maintain each piece’s crisp structure and refined quality—ensuring your garments stay as elegant as the day you received them.
1. How should I care for my shirts?
Washing: Hand wash is recommended. If machine washing, use a delicate cycle at the lowest temperature – ideally 30°C or below. Place the shirt in a laundry net if possible, and wash with like colours.
Before you wash: Turn the shirt inside out and fasten all buttons before placing it in the water or machine. This protects the fabric surface and keeps buttons secure.
Drying: Hang dry on a broad hanger to preserve the shoulder line. Avoid tumble drying – the heat breaks down fibres and shortens the life of the fabric.
Ironing: Iron on medium heat. For best results, iron while the shirt is slightly damp, or use a light steam setting.
